A total of 204 Deepavali hampers were distributed to families and 142 mini hampers were distributed to students. The recipients of this joyous welfare programme included the families under PKAM's Food-Aid Programme, and also families receiving Food Aid from the following societies; Persatauan Kebajikan Vivekananda Margam Selangor, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Vallalar Narpani Mandram PJ and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Vallalar, Hutan Melintang, Perak. Mini hampers were given to students from SJK(T) Ladang Lenggeng and SMK Dato Klana Lenggeng located in Negeri Sembilan and also SJK(T) Ladang Highland, Klang. In 2011 PKAM also sponsored the food for female Indian inmates of Kajang Prison as part of this effort to spread the cheer of Deepavali to all.
